Through Rose + Horizon, I’ll be photographing a very limited number of elopements each year — intimate wedding days rooted in connection, breathtaking locations, and that golden-hour magic I will forever be obsessed with.
And here’s the beautiful part: just because it’s smaller doesn’t mean it’s simpler or less meaningful. If anything, it creates more space.

Our story
I’ve been photographing weddings for over 20 years, and I’m still completely in love with the energy, emotion, and beauty of a wedding day.
But in 2023, something shifted.
I attended an elopement-styled shoot retreat in Northern Ireland, and something just clicked. The wild landscapes. The intentional details. The intimacy of it all. In that moment, I realized this wasn’t just something I wanted to try — it was my dream direction.
I want to take adventurous, awesome people to breathtaking places, get you dressed up, windswept, a little wild — and create art together.
Being from the beautiful state of Michigan, I’m starting right here, making the most of the incredible landscapes we have access to — from shoreline sunsets to forested trails. But this is only the beginning.
